Under this tournament, each of the 13 teams played between 18-24 matches based on their scoring and net run rate. 8 teams were decided to qualify for the tournament, including India, and 7 other teams progressed their way to participate in the 2023 edition of the World Cup. The remaining bottom five teams have to compete in the World Cup Qualifier 2023.
